Steve Lewis

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Steve Lewis is the CEO & Founder of Living PlanIT, recipient of the World Investment Conference Best Technology Investment in Europe Award, the World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneers Award and the Frost & Sullivan Smart Cities Award.

Steve is responsible for the company´s vision, strategy and product direction, is a member of the company's statutory board and chairs the Living PlanIT Advisory Council.

Formerly with Microsoft Corporation until May of 2004, where Steve served as General Manager of Market Development and Co-Chair of the Microsoft Business Development Forum. Steve was primarily responsible for understanding key market trends and developments to identify their strategic implications for Microsoft and the industry. He also led the company's strategic business development opportunities & commercial engagements leveraging Microsoft's portfolio of technology, research & development, services, marketing, distribution, partner ecosystem and investment capital.

Before joining Microsoft, Steve spent a couple of years raising capital for technology investments, mergers and acquisitions and participated on the boards of early through late stage development companies.

He served as General Manager of the Lotus Messaging and Collaboration division of IBM Corporation, having previously held key executive positions in areas of business development, product strategy, management, marketing, engineering and sales.

Steve is recognized globally for innovative technologies and business models synonymous with the development of smart cities and the industrialization of the Internet. He frequently delivers the keynote address at key industry events. He is actively involved in promoting entrepreneurship, science and technology in further education, including lectures at the Harvard Business School, the Kennedy School, the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Porto, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Cranfield School of Management, University College London and the London School of Economics.

He chaired the European Business Plan of the Year Competition 2010 and 2011, became World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer in 2012 and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Steve is an adviser to the UK Government Smart City Forum, UK ministerial forum on Smart Cities and Cities & Infrastructure Working Group of the Clinton Global Initiative.

John Stenlake

Chief Technology Officer

John has more than 26 years experience in Information Technology management, strategy, implementation, and consulting. His prior industry experience includes the successful creation and deployment of Advanced IT and Enterprise Architecture strategy and capability in a Fortune 5 company

Prior to joining Living PlanIT, John worked for Microsoft Corporation for 6 years, the last 3 of which were spent as the Director of Technology Strategy for the Automotive Vertical worldwide. John worked closely with multiple Microsoft product groups in order to ensure that the right offerings are brought to the Automotive market, as well as working closely with select customers on advanced vehicle and IT projects.

Prior roles inside Microsoft also include CTO, Manufacturing in the US, and Senior Architect in the Manufacturing Industry Architecture Team for Microsoft Consulting Services. In these roles John consulted with multiple customers on enterprise application architecture and strategy, and in particular drove messaging, uptake and deployment of Service Orientated Architecture.

Prior to joining Microsoft, John spent twenty years with Ford Motor Company both in Europe and in the US. John's team led the development and deployment of Enterprise Architecture within Ford, developed long-range architecture strategy and vision still in use today, and executed multiple highly successful leading edge IT projects (mainly with Microsoft), accelerating the adoption and business value acquisition of XML, Web Services, and Service Orientated Architecture in particular. Under John's technical leadership, Ford started to become an IT 'intelligent early adopter' and take an active part in industry standards development through AIAG, STAR, and WS-I. John also helped reshape the company's direction on In-Vehicle IT (Telematics) with some influential pilot activity and white paper development that led directly to the successful Ford Sync project through purchase of the Microsoft Auto solution in 2005.

John's career at Ford also includes 10 years with Ford in Europe in multiple IT management roles, including Financial Internet Application Development, Cost Estimating Systems Development, Artificial Intelligence Systems Development, and CADCAM Planning and Strategy.

John holds Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics from Oxford University in the UK and has been recognized as a Member of the British Computer Society and also as a Chartered Engineer. He has also received charter member certification as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect (MCA).

Rosemary Lokhorst

Vice President, Corporate Development

Rosemary is Vice President Corporate Development at Living PlanIT, responsible for developing the strategic markets globally and working with strategic partners. She has more than 20 years experience in ICT and Business Development.

She joined Living PlanIT from Microsoft Corporation where she was responsible for the development of the services business for one of Microsoft’s Global Accounts. She also led the “Women in Technology” initiative for Microsoft in Western Europe, which focused on retaining and developing the involvement of women in technical enterprises and professions.

Before Microsoft she served as Country Manager for a software start-up, after working in Sales and Business Development for Hewlett–Packard, Compaq and Siemens in Switzerland and internationally for several years. Rosemary has a Bachelor´s Degree in Hotel Management and a Masters in Computer Economics from AKAD University and is actively involved in citizenship projects and philanthropic organizations. She is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French.

Dieter Launer


Dieter joins Living PlanIT from Microsoft Switzerland, where he was the CFO for the last 3 ½ years. Before that he was the Managing Director for Finance and Delivery of Atos Origin Schweiz AG, where he led changes in the business model, financial operations and the organization.

Previously he held various senior management positions in Finance in the Software Industry, at Novartis (post-merger Sandoz/Ciba) and at a family business. He also co-founded in 1995 an Internet access provider in Switzerland.

Dieter always successfully aligns Business and Finance by creating transparency in the numbers and providing accredited Business Insights to drive growth.

Dieter graduated from University of Augsburg with a Diploma (MBA) in Business Administration, focusing on Finance and Auditing. Post graduate he was an assistant teacher of Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth.

Harley Blettner

COO & Treasurer

Harley has expertise in a range of financial instruments in industries such as real estate, insurance and financial institutions.

Harley is an expert in the financing of residential and commercial real estate development projects including mixed use, business, manufacturing, apartment and single family properties. In 1984 he co-founded The Acumen Group, a residential and commercial finance company specializing in residential mortgage backed securities and commercial brokerage finance.

He holds great expertise and has worked with leading finance and insurance institutions, manufacturers and mall operators on significant financing instruments including debt instruments, bonds, letters and lines of credit and lease negotiations.

Harley began his financial career consulting for the advertising industry on US and foreign currencies.

Harley is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a specific concentration in International Business and Finance. He was also a varsity oarsman and crew coach.

Bill Corrigan

Vice President, Product Management & Marketing

Bill has spent the recent years helping companies raise capital and deliver new products to market in the renewable energy and healthcare IT sectors. Prior to that, Bill served as the Chief Marketing Officer for RES Software in Den Bosch, Netherlands where he led the global marketing and product management teams in building and delivering desktop management and cloud application services to Enterprise customers.

Bill has spent the recent years helping companies raise capital and deliver new products to market in the renewable energy and healthcare IT sectors. Prior to that, Bill served as the Chief Marketing Officer for RES Software in Den Bosch, Netherlands where he led the global marketing and product management teams in building and delivering desktop management and cloud application services to Enterprise customers.

Prior to RES, Bill served as CMO at Neocleus, an innovative startup focused on delivering client hypervisor and other virtualization technologies. He was part of the team that sold the company to Intel in 2010.

Bill spent 3 years at Microsoft, as Director of Product Management for the Application Virtualization (App-V) technology, overseeing future product and market strategy and go-to-market planning for Microsoft’s desktop and server application virtualization technologies. In addition to managing the application virtualization team, Corrigan led the System Center Configuration Manager product management teams, launching SCCM 2007.

Bill joined Microsoft in July of 2006 as part of the acquisition of Softricity, a Boston-based pioneer in the virtualization market. During his 5 years with Softricity, Bill served as VP of Product Marketing and Management, leading product and strategic directions for the company as it grew from zero revenue to over $20M. Prior to his Softricity/Microsoft career, Bill led Product Management and Marketing at Calico Commerce, a San Jose-based B2B infrastructure company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Corrigan spent 10 years at Lotus and IBM in a variety of sales, product and marketing positions, focusing on the Notes and Domino collaboration software, with particular emphasis on Application Development. Mr. Corrigan holds a dual Bachelor's of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Finance from Boston University.
